Remember when I did that post on coffee? Well not only are the Asians masters of mimicry, they will sometimes blatantly copy and spoof. I don’t even know if this was supposed to be real coffee!

Questionable fashion. Some of the clothing here, typically the ‘older crowd'(and by older I mean 60+) their choice of clothing becomes impaired it seems. Seriously, who buys these kinds of socks and thinks they are a good idea?

Seoul Train Station. We have a long weekend here so Bharati are going to a city called Daegu. It is a 4hr train ride. We missed our first booked train, we rescheduled and only paid 12,000 won(about $10) more for the both of us. A more detailed post and album will show up later.

Boiled Silk Worm
Boiled Silk Worm

Here you have a very popular treat sold by many street vendors in any of the touristy areas. What you are seeing is boiled silkworm. That’s right, I said silkworm. It smells horrible, not quite gagging for me but close enough. One of the foreigners we saw braved them and tasted it, the look on her face said everything.

I decided to add a random picture of Korea to my blog in between bigger posts. They will be complete random and give you more of an insight to what I see here.

This is a picture of the entrance to Helium Academy, an English Hogwan. Hogwan’s are private schools that typically teach English but there are many who teach other courses as well. These are all extra learning that kids go to after their regular school and typically till 10pm at night. There are a few that I have heard of that still go even later!
