How does one get this job?

“Tree-leaf slapper”

That’s what I’m calling it.  I just saw this guy, welding a long sick, slapping tree branches and kocking down leaves, presumably to be raked up.  It seems like a make up job just top employee sometimes.  I mean, they do gallon down on their own, why force nature?

I guess its like Walmart greeters, this need to create jobs just to employee people, no really necessary but the company gets a tax break for doing so.

In such a fiercely competitive society, there will be fluff jobs just to try to Krupp things moving along. There is simply too many people in the country. Its funny, they talk with worry about the declining birth rate yet there is so much competition for jobs the suicide rate is the highest in OECD countries. One would think that a declining birth rate is a good thing. Time to give the country to catch up to the population.

And yet, doctors are not allowed to tell mothers the sex of a baby because if its female, there is a high chance that it will get aborted. What makes this practice really stupid is the pathetic logic of it. Ya kinda need females as much as males ya know.

Technically abortions in Korea are illegal albeit very common, until very recently. The Mother and Child Health Law allows for abortions only when the mother’s health is in serious danger, or in cases of rape, incest or severe hereditary disorders. It is never legal after the first 24 weeks of pregnancy.

Having a love of travel has lead me to move to South Korea in 2010. Moving to an Eastern culture from a Western culture is a wild experience and there is never a dull day!

      1. If I were you I’d approach them and tell them you’ll charge them a discounted rate to show them the Canadian technique of branch shaking. You might make some money.
