In sitting outside a pizza shop waiting for my food when i heat a light screech and plastic scraping. I look up and see a guy on a motor cycle sliding into a kid crossing the street. Luckily the driver was actually going slow, but i do believe he ran the red light add i looked at the walk signal and see it was green.
Now running a red light is rather pathetically common here, Koreans have swallows this mantra of “we’re too busy” to justify everything. The rider is only in his 20s (I believe the license age here is 20). Still, this is merely one example of a failed mentality and a compete lack of respect for the laws, let alone the potential weapons people drive.
Noted, the kid suffered nothing more than a bump on the head and too his credit, he did not cry till mom arrived. So all-in-all, this was a minor incident and no one got seriously hurt. The rider is limping because he scrapped his leg when he turned the bike sideways in order to try to avoid the kid, and it went down butt nothing beyond that.
